About Me

Years in Position: This is my first year at Edison Years in Education: I have been teaching for 6 years. Before I started teaching at Edison, I worked as a Resource teacher at Jackson Elementary in the SLC School District. I have also taught in the Granite School District. Credentials: I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah in Speech Pathology. I went back to school at Utah State University for my teaching licensure with endorsements in Mild / Moderate Special Education. Family: I have a nine year old daughter, Tate. Hobbies: I love to travel both in the air and in the car. Some of my best memories in my life involved the times I travel with my family as a young child as well as traveling with my daughter. If I am not traveling, I love hanging out in the mountains or by a lake enjoying nature. Favorite Summer Memory: This Summer my daughter and I traveled to NYC, New Hampshire, and Maine. We ended the trip by visiting a friend in Minneapolis. Favorite Children’s Book: Anything written by Sandra Boynton
