In Salt Lake City School District, everything we do is designed to give our students the strongest possible foundation to grow, succeed, and be ready for college, careers, and life.
Our focus areas are intentional. Strengthening literacy ensures every child gains the reading foundation that opens doors in every subject. Expanding college and career pathways gives students real opportunities to explore their interests and see a future that inspires them. Improving daily attendance keeps students connected to caring adults and consistent learning. Each priority supports our larger goal of graduating students who know their options and are ready for life beyond high school.
I am thankful for the growing partnerships I see between our schools, families, and the community. This combined effort helps keep our focus where it belongs: on our students, and on doing everything we can to make sure our students have the opportunities and skills needed to succeed now and in the future.
I look forward to the progress we will make together for our students.
Warm regards,
Elizabeth Grant, Ph.D.
Superintendent
