Principals Message

Dear Edison Families,

I am so excited for this 2026-2027 year at Edison Elementary! I am honored to continue serving the Edison school community as your Principal, and I look forward to partnering with you to support the success of all students.

At Edison, our mission statement is: “Together, we are committed to creating an academically driven community of curious learners and staff that is inclusive, safe, and joyful. Students, faculty, and families of all cultures, identities, and abilities are empowered, supported, and celebrated.”

To achieve this mission, our dedicated staff and faculty work every day to build meaningful relationships with students and families, actively engage students through research-based instructional practices, and support all students in reaching high expectations.

We cannot do this work without you. We believe that families are our most important partners. Strong relationships between home and school are essential to student achievement, and to building a safe and caring school community. We encourage you to stay connected through: attending school events, communicating with your child’s teacher, participating in our School Community Council, or volunteering in our food pantry or in your child’s classroom.

This year, we are especially focused on improving daily student attendance and ensuring all students are readers. I will be sharing our progress on these areas regularly throughout the year, and I look forward to working with you to reach these goals.

Please be sure to connect to Parent Square so you continue to receive important information and updates from the school. If you ever have questions or need support, do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or to the main office.
