Resources for Families

On this page, you will find several resources for families. It will be updated regularly throughout the year so come back often.

These resources include mental and physical health resources, educational resources, and more.

Many are offered through the Glendale-Mountain View Community Learning Center which serves families from several district schools, including Edison.

Please reach out to Ms. Stern if you have any questions about anything you see below.

List of Resources

  • September is Suicide Prevention Month. Please visit the Parent Guidance website for English and Spanish newsletters about the importance of awareness around this issue.

Ms. Stern, Edison’s social worker, is talking to students about this and related issues during Sept. She is visiting classrooms to talk about the district’s G-19 Anti-Harassment Policy and G-20 Anti-Bullying Policy. She is leading discussions about treating others with kindness and respect, what bullying and harassment can look like, and what students can do if they or someone else needs help.

She is sharing this student-friendly information with students. She encourages parents take a few minutes to look through it with their child and ask them about what they learned.

If you or your child have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Stern. She is always happy to help!

Thank you for partnering with us to help make our school a safe, kind, and welcoming place for every student.
